A: Promod is a downloadable mod that can be used to host Promod servers. You can find the lastest version of Promod in the CoD4 Revive kit along with many other cool things. Or you can just simply join a Promod server with the mod pre-loaded into the server (Promod Servers).
Q: Is Promod still active?
A: Yes! There are many active Promod servers you can join through our discord or through our resources section of our sidebar. With over 5000+ CoD2 and CoD4 players on our server.
Q: Is Call of Duty 4 compatible with Windows 10 and other newer systems?
A: Yes! However, due to the game being really old, things need to be updated before hand so you can play the game with no problems. I created the CoD4 Revive Kit that helps revive and update all the game files.

Am I the only one who feels like its time for the community to take Counter Strike back to its roots?

It really wouldn't take much to get this going, we have the maps already created by @/u/mynameiscrash : http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=414356783
This takes care of all the visual and audio issues with the game. And the CSGO Weapon Balance mod by @/u/SlothSquadron.
All we need is for a few servers to start hosting these, or perhaps Cevo / ESEA/ or faceit to start offering these as options and we would be good to go.
